Hey guys i just recently downloaded this free program called Simplify Media, Basically it allows you to share your itunes libraries without a lan connection, so you can play any music from my itunes, i can play any from yours.

While i know some of you don't use i tunes because it really does suck, this is probably the only cool feature. If you have an itouch/iphone you can download the simplify music 2 app, which allows you to listen to your music on your itunes, your friends music on his itunes, and up to a total of 30 itunes libraries together.

I know you guys all have crazy musical tastes and i want to see what you have so i can find some great stuff, so we should all share our info for it here


TLDR;
GO TO http://www.simplifymedia.com/ and download the program and add me as a friend so we can all listen to each others music

in order for this program to work your computer has to be on, but for techno geeks like im sure a lot of us are, this isn't too uncommon.

my username on it is comeau1337, you can add me and i'll accept you, and then all you have to do is go into your itunes library and my music will pop up under shared.


EDIT: Also, post what kind of music/how much you have so others can decide if they are interested in adding you!

I have basically every kind of music, pretty much a mash-up of everything, about 6,000 songs, so i'm sure you can find something interesting on there.

Hey fuck you, it isn't because you're allowed to listen to any music you want, its just streaming from the respected PC, its an app in the itunes store, i don't think they would release and endorse an illegal app.

It apparently works with Winamp and WMP, so if you have either that works too, I think!

i'm trying it with wmp player and have added you but it is pending!

I have Zune and half of my library is DRM'd from my Zune Pass which won't let you play it anyway.

I have WMP.  If enough other clocks do this I'll join in.
For statistical purposes I have over 16,000 songs and I also have a lot of video game soundtracks.

upon reading further it seems that when using wmp, you need it on vista if you want to stream other peoples songs, but on xp you can let other people stream yours
