So I've recently developed a fancy for this little adventure. I'm up to The Doctor and he is fucking HARD to beat!!

All things considered, though, this game is incredible. Who else has played it?

Wow you already managed there? I have only gotten the lame ending. Yeah I have played this quite a while but it's kind of hard for me to find how to get the alternate endings.

By the way, did you know you can float by shooting downwards with the Level 3 machine gun? It lasts way longer than the Booster.

It makes me giggle how this whole game was made by one guy (and is being ported to WiiWare), and yet Bob of "Bob's Game" thinks he's all that for making what's basically an RPG Maker game on DS. _poogle_

It's not, but it will be done soon. I hear it has updated graphics and sound, but you can use the original sound and graphics if you want. There's supposedly extra stuff like concept art and whatnot, too.

I beat it earlier today and got the Normal ending. I'd probably buy it when it comes out on Wii and try to get the Mega-Happy Ending.

And yes I'm a big fan of Cave Story and I've been playing it since it got released in 2004. Such a long time ago.

And for those who want an awesome ending from the game (there are 3 endings, 1 bad and 2 good ones, if I remember right) don't get the booster, and explore a bit more. It's hard first to manage without the booster, but you'll get something better in time.

But I still encourage you to play the game first with the items you've got so far.
