There's a big difference between a neat, almost painless kill for food and drawn out, excruciating pain for fun/punishment. That's why people don't throw dogs or people off bridges to euthanize them.

I eat meat because it's healthier to.

And yes, throwing a dog off a bridge for no reason is a wee bit different from raising livestock for slaughter and consumption.

You're condoning throwing a dog off a bridge for no reason. That isn't the same as swatting a fly or eating meat. Not even remotely. One death does not equal another, as you seem to be arguing. It's all relative. This death was a long, drawn-out death filled with pain and fear. And there was no reason for it to happen. I don't get how it's possible not to see anything wrong with it.
