I think a good project would be to collectively hone a draft page for "The Clock Crew" that we could eventually jimmy into place on wikipedia.org.

DWARFINATORclock

You can also use this thread to apply to become a Clock Crew Archivist. Archivists are responsible for maintaining the Clockopedia and get a fancy colored username. Probies can not apply to become Archivists.

Needless to say if you become an Archivist and don't do anything you will lose your status.

Thunderbolt

This will take some time to fill the whole Registry with info, but I will see if I can add some info.
I will post some things when I feel like I have a good idea for a page.
Also: I think if I become a Archivists I won't be doing much with it, so I wont apply.

BootClock

Added two articles I saved from the old clockopedia, clockcrew history and clockcrew sites (I updated the sites one to add this new version of clockcrew.cc but I think it's still incomplete without clocktopia.net and internetcult.org but I don't think I have all the facts on those so didn't write about them).

I don't know how to add images though, it just shows as a link. :(

As far as I can tell you can only add images that are hosted here.

Topcatyo

Started up a page for Clockcrew Academy.

Didn't put much in at the moment but I'll add more later.

Just something you may want to look at when you go back to fix it up. The first paragraph jumps between tenses, talking about the academy in past tense and present tense, not making clear as to whether it still runs.

Yeah I couldn't really decide on the tense, but I'll probably go for past tense.  Thanks for the reminder, and fixed.

Steve

I'll take a gander tommorow when i'm not busy, perhaps i can get a page or so done.

BootClock

I added dates to the clock crew sites page (I see dwarfinator will not accept us to be called the clockcrew and it must always be the clock crew) which I collected from a combination of knowledge, the content already there and wayback machine but someone in the know might wanna just skim over them and see if they are accurate.

Also I'd like to rewrite it to be more formal and less shitty and I will do when I next get the chance, I'd just like to say that it may be easier for someone who was actually around for a greater majority of the sites to fix it up, so if you're an oldy and you feel up to it ;)

jesus christ hyundai... is this something you really feel is important information about the clock crew and/or flash?

i mean, thanks for wanting to contribute and all, but i was really hoping we could get some of the more important topics out of the way first....
hah I was just looking through cached pages on google and found a few articles

BootClock

Quote from: clammo;1783677its for completion sake. i was going to do the same thing, but dwarf beat me to it. if someone searches "clockcrew sites" they'd get an empty page, and not think to look up "clock crew sites". this way, we've standardized the search so that people will get the page they're looking for, regardless of spelling.

heh, wasn't complainin.

DWARFINATORclock

We already have the latest version of mediawiki I think. Either way the only reason why infobox doesn't put a lil thing on the side is because you have to create a template file for infoboxes,  and we haven't done that yet.

There's a plugin that you can download that adds most of the commonly used templates though.

Thunderbolt

Maby it's more fun if (serious) people will add the pages of other clocks. (and not their own page)

DWARFINATORclock

Maybe whoever wants to add themselves to the clockopedia can write a lil bio/wiki and send it to Corpsegrinder or VCR, as they are currently the two official Clock Crew Archivists. They know about the formatting etc so it's probably best to send it to them so they can fix up the article and submit it or reject it.

Created a page for flash events/holidays:

http://www.clockcrew.cc/wiki/index.php/Flash_events

So far I've got Clock Day (with a link to the full article), Bill Murray Week and Flash Flood (all I can think of right now).

I couldn't get as much info on Bill Murray week as I would like because the thread from where it originated is gone, so I need to get Yo-Yo's and Leek's account for how it got started.

Are we using this thread to request information about certain events, or should another thread be made?
