A dude just released a really good translation/uncensored version of Mother 1 for GBA, and I grabbed it.



I'm surprised at how emotional and dark some parts of the game are, and how interesting some of the dialogue is. The Forgotten Man part was actually pretty sad.

Have you gone through this thread and see the things I find? A fair amount is from eBay, but those are hard finds too.  You have to be vigilant to get some of these. There's one guy at a flea market who always has retro games, and one anything-n-everything toy shop that carries used toys. Every so often they get something golden, and they're dirt cheap at both places.

Something nobody appreciated - and I didn't expect them to, seeing how I was barely phased by it - was the Tommy Hilfiger Game Boy Color. It's boring as hell, since it's just a yellow case (which already existed) with a silk screen logo. It could've just as easily been a sticker. They are worth quite a bit to collectors, I only nabbed it because it was so cheap. There's another one on eBay now for $50, which is still a deal. I've seen on forums people pay over $100 for it, and the market for these is increasing with all the chiptune music explosion.

Well I was more so referring to stumbling upon a complete boxed copy more so than just the cartridge. That wouldn't surprise me much at all.

Btw, I just noticed the "free 8 batteries" promo on that Game Gear hahahaha
