Yeah we have that here in the UK too. For some reason one of them has an image of a heroin needle, with "SMOKING IS ADDICTIVE" alongside. That close-up of a dead guy with lung cancer and a sliced open throat is always a great conversation starter though.

Now I want to start smoking heroin.

I've never once met a person who quit because of the graphic pictures.

One of my mates is trying to collect them all like football stickers.

Does anyone else only see this as absurd propaganda? They don't actually convince anyone of anything. All they do is make the government look even more overbearing.

No one is dumb enough to delude themselves into thinking cigarettes aren't harmful.

That is because the warnings actually trigger the same parts of the brain that cigarettes do, making you feel like you want to smoke more.

Well I guess it doesn't work on canadians.   But once you've bought a pouch of baccy, it stays lying around for a while. Every time you look at it, it's having that same effect. You'll get more cravings and consume more product. Even if you don't smoke, you probably see a cigarette packet fairly often.
