I think "independent" in the u.s. is just a blanket term for "not part of the two major parties"

Vote for the democrat who's going to blast me in the ass? Or the republican who's going to blast my ass? Either way, politics is all one big ass blasting.

Yup, party systems are fucked.

Reeeeaallly wish they would be done away with, but I don't see that happening unless a brawl breaks out between the Jets and the Sharks.



PS I also am Independent/non-partied/whatever the hell I don't know anymore, man.  I just find the Republicans to be off the fucking deep end at the moment.

On my thing you could choose to be independent or part of a party.
