well, i was bored today, so, after watching (again), reverse the flash, i thought to myself: how cool was knott's in this movie, and how rib's style rocks.
so, i did this!

i took a screenshot from the movie, studied the hand, and the knott's figure and did it all by myself.
the only things i DINT do, were the clock, (the classic clock, which i edited), and the ''knott's'' letters. they are impossible to draw. also, i picked the colours from the screenshot, and i drew knott's from scratch.
did i imitated the palm well? it took me a solid hour to do in pencil, (in flash), while knott's body was easier, just a few lines, and rectacles that i bended.

i hope you guys like this (and esp. ribs), do have any suggestions? do you have a good idea/story that i could do with this?
i was thinking bb10 travelling in time, with knotts, in order to do cool stuff, but dunno..

anyway, you like? i hope you do.
sorry for postingin general, just felt proud.

Truth be told, you shouldn't study how other artists' draw hands.  You should study actual hands.  You won't learn how to draw a hand from studying other peoples' drawings, just how to draw hands how they did.

miracle fruit

i hope the whole movie is just a bunch of hands

AstronautClock

you wont learn to draw hands by copying lines other people drew and not knowing why they drew them it will jsut make your drawings look weird.

PezClock

This whole movie:

i reply on BOTH of you, and esp. to astronaut clock: i DID NOT copy, or trace the image. that's the reason i provided you with the screenshot, in order to see the fine differences from the prototype and in my work.

i STUDIED rib's drawing, i didnt copied it. it's like, when having a picture of a woman  nailed near your canvas, to use it as a refference as you draw.

i was looking in the hand, and then drawing one from scratch. starting with the palm, then the fingers, then the lines/wrinkles, and finally, with the finer details.

but, i drew 100% of the hands, and i did a rendition of the ''glow-VOID-clock'', in order to give bb10 that ominous look.
i EVEN did ALL of knott's body by myself! (except from the ''knott's'' letters ofcourse, they are too hard too draw.
but i did the body, tho.

-studied it after a screenshot of knotts by ribs, again.

i hope, that you see this, as an evolution of my drawing skills.
next time, i will draw more realistically, and so on.
and one day, i will draw like a great man!

-next time, tho, i wil study my own body parts, and evolve even more!

ps. i was studying both rib's hand, and mine, while working on this. next time, i will focus more on my anatomy, to do a different style/type of hand.

I learned how to draw hands from drawing many hands onto one canvass (or whatever it was) from a picture taken with the said hands.
It's not that good, but it's litterly where I started and learned how to draw hands.
I got it around here somewhere

link me, vuvu.

also, do you like it guys? what story should i do now about this?

i hear suggestions.

also, i leanred from rib's screenshot, but this drawing here is 100% mine (except from the ''knott's'' letters, on knots body)

hurrrr

yeah, this was from art 1, in my senior year (i needed a fine arts credit) and our nazi teacher made the girls hold these mask and took a picture, then we drew the picture...
I hated that class so much
and we had to do that shading shit where you rub the G-spot of a scrap paper with pencil stuff, then take a tissue and dry the semen off the paper and smear it over the drawing, and shade with it

good drawings! tho, if you hate something, you rarely work happily on it, sir vuvu von vaughaun.

i say, you should draw more on hands, and study the figure, by studiying your own hand, like i didi, and i will do more, stuff coming up!

you dig?

you should prob just leave out ribs drawing and just study your own hand in a mirror or something

Topcatyo

Yeah you really didn't listen to what I said.

I didn't say copying Ribs' hand was a bad idea.  I said what you are doing is bad.  You are studying how Ribs drew the hands.  Those are the words I used.

You should be looking a real pictures of hands, as well as your own hand and other people's hands.  Hands in real life, not hands somebody drew.  You should be drawing the real life hands.

just use carrot glock's hands
