Pokemon, Animal Crossing, Luigi's mansion? Nope.

It wouldnt be hard to find PC equivalents to Fire Emblem.

PC has a lot of innovation on it and an incredible library of games. But of all the things the PC has, there's no library of games quite like Nintendo's.

I will admit it was a broad statement which is why I apologized in advance.
But as I mentioned in above text, Mario kart and brawl do not make justice to buy a console for me.

Pikmin/Pokemon/animalcrossing(wut...)/etc are for me quite childish games I've never enjoyed. If you enjoy them all power to you.

Fire Emblem I agree because that's actually a cool series I wish I could play. So we're up to 3 games now. Still not enough for me.



One of my earliest gaming memory is playing Zelda on supernintendo, as well as super mario. This still makes me sad because I'd like to enjoy them but I'd much rather see them try something new, fresh, I mean there's a reason the timeline in Zelda is fucked up because they're trying to make it serious whilst adding more and more shit. Whilst mario has done the smart design choice of just ignoring any serious story at all.
Which is why for me it becomes as appealing as Modern shooter warfighter 5 after a while because they all just blurr togheter.

Now I know I'd have fun playing Super mario galaxy but I'd have fun doing a lot other stuff for less money it'd cost me, whilst I wouldn't feel betrayed by a company I used to think was a great asset to the gaming community.


This all boils down to taste in the end. But I'll be a bit arrogant and say that I do think the broader population of gamers and gaming communities would agree that Ps4 is the console for this generation. Whilst if Wii was your console of choice then I don't think much has changed for you but I guess that is what those people want as well.


EDIT: Also I watched those Xbox Done videos just before coming here, was gonna post em. I don't get who is handeling public affairs at Microsoft.

It has the most multiplayer games, but not the kind I enjoy. Mariokart is fun for like 20 minutes of play then I want something else. Super brawl is the same thing, after a while it's the same old same old feeling.

The singleplayer games is severely lacking compared to the other consoles. Both graphical and story for me. JRPG's don't count on the case that it isn't fun to watch someone play those whilst it's still fun to watch friends play a game that is fastpaced and have a story.

For me the Wii lacks in almost every regard compared to the other consoles to the point that I'd never buy one, but I don't mind my friend buying one. Wii U just feels like the same but by now it's getting old.

Nintendo is doing fantastic, actually. Outside of the Wii U being in a sale's slump that is. I think that has to do with the whole brand recognition and lack of software, though. 3DS continues to sell like gangbusters and they just build a massive new HQ in Japan so all their departments can finally be under the same roof.

Phew, alright. I'm all caught up on events. I also preordered a Playstation 4. As soon as the Wii U gets more games out there, I'd love to pick one of those up as well. Microsoft is... well, they're dead to me. As soon as I possibly can I'm cancelling my Xbox Live membership with them. I believe it'll be after I finish playing GTA V to death. Unfortunately I have to renew in August, so I'll still have to pay for another year or find one of them 2 month free cards. I can cancel afterwards by just choosing not to renew, so I suppose I'll still have it to play any 360 games or Arcade titles if they manage to put any out in 2014. I doubt it, though.

Right now there are some games I want on the Wii but I can't actually think of any games I'm looking forward to on the Wii U except for the new smash bros. I guess I'll just get a used wii instead.

I've played every Battlefield. All I saw was a staged demo for Battlefield 3.5. Here are the leaked Xbox One alpha multiplayer images since you don't believe me.

I've had some livestreams in the background during the day, there's some really cool games coming out. "The Crew" looks pretty damn cool and I usually hate realistic/non-combat racing games. But tuning in to a esport event where they race from coast to coast or clan vs clan could be really cool.
Also God of war fighting DLC (free) looks pretty sexy for watching events on stream.

No idea how you got "flaunting my erection for everything EA" out of what I said. EA publishes the BF series, and they're also the ones that forced DICE to put out crap instead of letting them develop at their own pace. Thanks to EA, BF is now a yearly series just like COD. They've burned me one too many times for me to pop any sort of boner for them.
