does anyone really give that much of a shit if some stuff gets buried? I mean, if you're like 80% of the clockcrew who just use the What's New button, then new topics get buried all the time because as soon as people stop posting in them they're gone forever.

Also, I've always been a proponent of reducing the amount of subforums, I think that would make using the what's new button less necessary.

i dont use "whats new" and imo that is what should be deleted before anyone even discusses ccbt
