according to my personal CC mythos, all the founding clocks got a small kingdom/city/fiefdom granted to them by emperor strawberry clock.

strawberry gave one huge area of land, to orange-clock the brave, and orange clock named his land orangeville. (later to be named orangeburg)
he also gave land to pineapple, which he named it as ''pineapplia''.
raspberry's domain was named raspberrysburg, (a name that inspired orange clock later on to rename his huge land)
and apple's fiefdom, the smallest of all the gifted lands, was named the kingdom of Appledania, a heaven for spammers and home of innapropriate sex jokes (NEIL, get it?)

i like to think of cool medievalistic tales about the clockcrew. i am crazy, what can i say!
