it's impossible to watch the u.s. version of the digimon movie without watching an episode of angela anaconda

they put it in as a cross-promotional thing and they just never bothered to release a cut without it

does mmo really need doujins? I'm pretty sure there was an entire comic where it was just everyone raping owl for some reason.

I think that's it, tho (not having read all of the canonical MMO). The doujin is mostly WWJ buttfucking Owl after downing a Coke spiked with Viagra, and then mouth-raping Owl while Owl's beak is broken.

Created by someone else completely independently. Turned legit.
<Marlin Clock> This thread seems proof positive that divisiveness at any level is usually bad for the Clock Crew.
<PhantomCatClock> are we talking about the same clock crew

amazingly I can remember a distinct canon (but maybe now retconned in physical releases) comic separate from the rape doujin you're talking about. I wonder which came first lol.

the digimon movie is probably the most weirdly put together anime localization in history. and that one american robotech movie exists. they combined a completely different movie with macross and paid to have a new ending animated to tie it together. digimon is still weirder. also.

PhantomCatClock

that's not even the worst review it got. imagine what the fans thought.

I bought a book second hand, this particular version was published in 1974. There's an inscription in the front with a name and a date (18-2-75 (or 2-18-75 for you fucktards)) and there are a bunch of written notes in it. 45 year old notes (probably). 45 years ago someone sat down and studied this particular copy and had ideas and wrote them down in the margins and now it's on the desk in front of me in my house in the tail end of 2019. Some groovy guy with sideburns sitting in a rattan chair surrounded by loud orange colors, someone's jabbering on about Vietnam on the tv in the background. A bunch of shit hadn't happened yet (this is still true today). I don't know, but that's kind of cool. One little note says "clever, but not that clever". Whoever wrote that probably died of mouth cancer or something in the interim.

There are no notes after page 50 (out of 400 odd*), it must've spread fast.

I'm not exactly sure why I'm so blown away by this, I've studied medieval marginalia in the past. Maybe because it's closer, more relatable, easier to imagine?

*The way I phrased this made me think of Russell Crowe's band 30 odd foot of something or other and I decided to look up a song:

[u2]E5ONTXHS2mM[/u2]

like half the lyrics sites, including Genius, have the lyric at 1:52 as "whole bunch of lavish shit" and that's not what he says
it's "whole buncha lotta shit"
I know that's dumber than the other line but it's what he says

In 1975, somebody starts a book and decides it's bullshit 50 pages in, but not before writing in it.

The last time I can remember this happening to me was when buying used textbooks online, when I didn't care about the condition of the book. At best, someone was reading carefully and might have jotted down interesting ideas they had, or marked sections that were important for one reason or another, maybe adding a little information or connection that wasn't in the original text. At worst, someone literally highlighted every sentence and wrote notes indicating basic reading comprehension, if that.

The best time something like this happened was buying old records from a radio station that was getting rid of them. The albums would often have a piece of paper taped to them, on which a DJ might have written, briefly, about what kind of music it was, which tracks were worthwhile, possibly notes about the condition of the record itself. Sometimes if a record was shit, someone left a note saying it was shit. Sometimes the only note was from someone who didn't know what they were talking about. Probably the best thing I took away from that sale (not mind-blowing, but pretty good if you know what you're getting into) was this. Notes just said "pop Latin," which it isn't.

more inclined towards "lotta" because I don't hear the "v" needed for "lavish," though that'd be a better rhyme for "clappin." but more importantly: literally needing subtitles to read lyrics this boring makes me sad

torn between not liking most contemporary hip hop and being bored with old heads' mediocre attempts to "take it back"
time to go find an unsuspecting bar patron and pepper them with unsolicited hip hop opinions until they leave

We were talking about this a while ago (I got shit on for pointing it out at one point by some retard who posts there every day. His logic was it'd never happened before or it didn't happen often or something, I don't remember. Meanwhile, we'd been talking about it on THESE forums because of Clock Day concerns). Tom's replied to me bringing it up a while ago, saying tools to deal with it are on the backburner but he has a lot of shit to deal with, so we'll get it when we get it and that is COOL and ADEQUATE so I stopped caring.

Just wanted to link that page because, like, you know something's up when even the NGBBS catches on to it. Clock Day was.. four months ago? They're getting faster. I worry the NGBBS may get too powerful some day, a sleeping giant.

Also I made an ass out of myself earlier today and sort of worked it out. I checked my phone when I got home and the notifications were close to "Gee buddy we sure are friends again. How've you been doing in…", "Why didn't you reply to that message? Did you think I was being sarcastic? If you…" and then seven other "unread messages from one chat" that don't get previews.

It's at 20 now and I really don't want to read them.

Don't get the wrong idea, I did have this all coming, but like, damn. I think I'd rather make it worse and not open Telegram for a week than dig the hole deeper faster than I am right now by doing nothing.

we really need to start making fake porn spam movies again. newgrounds has gotten too safe for these people. I think I know what my next flash is gonna be.

I wonder how people upload games on newgrounds now if you cant use flash. whatever it is I could probably put together a rudimentary point and click adventure. Some kind of overwatch themed sequel to custer's revenge perhaps?
