yeah, I think getting away from wrestling has been good for him. like, psychologically and spiritually
I wasn't really paying attention to these videos (just using them as background noise while playing mgsv) but he talks about trying to be more zen and not get angry about stuff that doesn't matter, and how his goal of main eventing wrestlemania was this obsessive mechanism he had in his head that he just doesn't have anymore

w/r/t to the pipebomb, idk it's one of those things where it seems like it's the big thing he's always getting asked about so he's sick of talking about it, but also there somehow isn't much footage of him really getting into it (like how bret hart is with montreal)
I want to say on his appearance on colt cabana's podcast a few months after he left, he said that everything he said in the pipebomb was approved ahead of time, but I haven't listened to it in years

for those who aren't wrasslin' fans, or for any federal agents listening in, "the pipebomb" was a monologue that cm punk delivered on wwe monday night raw in 2011 that infamously broke a lot of wwe's in-house rules and left people wondering how much of what they just saw was real

yeah, you can kinda tell he doesn't really care anymore. I was kinda surprised when he started doing that Talking Smack ripoff on FOX because I thought it would be a segue into an in-ring return, but I guess not.

I've read that the pipebomb was preapproved (which doesn't surprise me in the slightest), but it would be interesting to get his take on it and how it played out backstage (about montreal, that VICE documentary was pretty cool, i think it kinda put the issue to bed for good, at least if you're to believe bret)

i was gonna say main eventing WM is dumb nowadays but then i remembered that while most of the card these days is underwhelming, they usually continue to make an effort in the main event
