Saving that.

I was joking bout the "haves" and "have nots", although I always did think clockification had a way of making newer members active because they had something to strive for.

I agree with Abs on pretty much everything. Elections are great and all but we have a good staff at the moment, they're pretty much going to stay after we do another election save for some inactive people getting switched around.

The only reason the "Do you wanna do another election" thing fell through last time is because we had just had some sort of staff change-up and people were like "WHOA LOOK WHO'S TRYIN TO GET POWER NOW!"

I can really only remember one guy ranting about that and he's an smod now. Curious what his opinion is. :)

Quote from: AbsintheClock;1959628The majority of the time that the CC has been around staff has chosen it's own cabinet. And now with checks and balances such as Piney, Tom from NG running the server, and 3 separate admins all having access there's no real way for anyone to really pull a BitClock or something like that. And for the most part, even in the most chaotic of situations the CC has always banded through creative endeavors, and fallen apart through petty politics. I think we should set a precedent that we're here to make flash, and not gaze at our own shoes and mumble on about democracy.
Well, to be perfectly honest, disliked administration has been the catalyst for more clock flashes than I can count, some pretty funny ones too. I don't think the administration was ever a problem as far as inhibiting creativity.

Still, I can see what you've been saying Abs. Considering how well this group works, I think I'd be okay with a general vote to see if we should get rid of it.
