Wildstar MMO. Or "Will this actually be a good game?!"

I couldn't find any topic with the search function so I figured I'd make a topic about it.

For those whom like me had no idea what this quite generically named MMO is about; This seems to be on every nerds lips as the new hope for MMO's.
Me being a huge skeptic I checked out all their videos and feed and well, I'm as pumpt as I can afford myself to be nowdays... Which is not a great deal, but still.

It's flashy, I'll give it that. But honestly the next big MMO in my opinion will be ESO.
I'm not really impressed, sorry. That being said, I think it is worth trying. All things deserve a chance.

Looks p dope, probably not the best thing ever, but definitely looks fun enough to take for a whirl.
Plus, Guild Wars 2 is a pretty good game, so not like these dudes have a terrible track record or anything.

EDIT: Okay, okay I watched some of the teaser videos online, this game has definitely caught my interest. Still, very flashy and the attitude is seething. It has got me hooked, but I have yet to be sold.

Arenanet made Guild Wars 2. NCsoft is the publisher, not the developer. Arenanet has nothing to do with this game as far as I know.

This game doesn't look like something I'd be interested in. Guild Wars 2 and Planetside 2 have been the only MMOs I've been able to enjoy in recent years. It doesn't look like it will be a bad game, just not for me.

It's weird though, everyone and every gaming page I visit (reddit, TeamLiquid, gametrailers) all seem to think ESO will be very dull and boring. From the gameplay I have seen I must admit I fear the same.
It just seems like Neverwinter without the dodge mechanic

 Haha yeah I felt the same when I found it, everyone on twitch was talking about it and I was like "What is all this fuzz about?! >:C" And I was skeptical, then it was kinda charming so I'll keep a lookout.

Oh, don't be mistaken. It is going to have dull and boring gameplay. That is not even a question. That was confirmed when they said it would be an MMO. That's one of the primary features of the genre.

I like the idea of a class base on exploring though. Exploring the map was my favorite thing about WoW.

I used to love Wild Arms, though I'm not sure how it holds up today. I'll have to play it again sometime.

Guild wars 2 did platforming right.

One of the things that piques my interest in Wildstar (god I hate that generic name) is the fact that there's a subclass for exploring. Suits me perfectly
