My point is, newgrounds is dead and we aren't the thriving community we used to be. $1000 is a nice incentive but even if we produced something SPECTACULAR not too many people would see it and we'd maybe pick up 2 new members at most if we were lucky.

Hell even the past few clockdays have failed to produce any measurable influx of new members.

ergo, i'm not discrediting animation, but flash just isn't as popular as it was say 10 years ago.
