I actually really don't know who pays for the clockcrew.net domain name, and was in fact under the impression that it was rich uncle RabidClock.

We moved to .net because we, the Clock Crew, have the password to change where .net points. Only Newgrounds can point .cc to a different server. I pointed .net to the non-dead site, thinking I'd still muck around in the .cc control panel to help me recreate the .cc layout. As soon as NG found out we had a working site, they pointed .cc here and sent the old .cc server to the glue factory, presumably.
