Earthbound was pretty good. Expect some of the combat and enemies to get a little boring and repetitive, though.

Penumbra, Penumbra: Requiem, and Penumbra: Overture. It's a game akin to Amnesia and made by the same group, Frictional Games. Anyway, I'm only a bit of the way in and already I love it. Survival Horror, Puzzle, and Interactive game. Very immersive and paranoia based game if you're into that kind of thing. I thrive off of this macabre stuff, so just a game I will gladly recommend to all my other horror fiends out there.

Penumbra was the first game I ever actually bought for PC, its why I installed steam. 4chan's video game board told me to play it when I said I was jaded to horror and nothing could scare me anymore. They said it was the scariest game ever made. By god they were right, christ. I made a point of playing it at night, in the dark, alone, with headphones. Its an amazing game. Then amnesia came out and that ended up being even scarier. Each game this company makes is scarier than the last (excluding the penumbra expansion pack that's all puzzles). I haven't beaten amnesia yet, I'm told there's a water part coming up that's going to make me cry. I can't wait.

I honestly couldn't cope. I got cornered by one of the... thingamajigs that steal people or whatever at night, and it was horrible. I was far enough that he didn't quite see me, but I was in a corner, so the only way to get away from him was to run past him, and I just couldn't bring myself to do it. He stood there until my oil ran out and my insanity sky-rocketed and I screamed. The ensuing consequences were terrifying. I haven't played it since.
