Suprisingly not as good as i thought it'd be, it's got amazing special effects and some nice scenes, but the 3D viewing of it barely has any good 3D moments.
8/10

it's a straight to dvd comedy from a south park writer or something about a guy who makes a sequel to hamlet.

i assume it's like a live action adaptation of that episode of family guy where peter directs "the king and i"

Thunderball - 7.5/10
Not quite as prestine a film as Dr.No, Thunderball still has great under-water action and is alot of fun to sit through.

Diamonds are Forever - 7/10
Sad to note that this, Connery's last (official) Bond film, it doesn't hold up as well as it's precursors. Still recommended, it's just not as good as the others.

Extract - 7/10
Has that distinct 'Mike Judge' feel you get from King of the Hill that i absolutely loved. It wasn't laugh out loud funny but it was never boring and always amusing. Has one of the best endings I've ever seen.

SpongeClock SquarePants

I saw the reader and i nearly cried. Good thing i am such a manly man and not gay so i did not cry or even think of it. damn homo's

Avatar - Bunch of tree-hugging hippy crap as Cartman would say.
I rooted for the human mercenaries through the whole movie.

When the military general calls the main character a "traitor to his race" I fucking shouted "damn right" in agreement.

The plot needed LOTS more work, but the graphics were nice, and the casting was good.
Okay folks, so if you have bad writing skills, and release a movie to the mainstream, make sure the graphics look great, and make sure to have well-known actors in the movie. 9 times out of 10, it will be released to theatres. I guarantee it!
I\'ve moved on from Jughead to Trevor from Sidekick.
...Not that much different.

The writing was pretty solid to be fair.

The movie got a oscar nomination for fucks sake.

PRINCESS AND THE FROG 8/10
The best princess Disney movie, I think, when your not looking at the steps in animation and technology it made, and just the story, characters and songs, I really fucking liked it. The two main characters and the villian were really fucking believable, and the shit thrown in for kids and the not-so-catchy songs for the goofy characters are fun to watch, at least. But you really root and feel for the characters, and the villian REALLY gives it some good ol' Disney fun.

Well, yeah, but, yours is pretty wrong, though.

Avatar was generic by design. Cameron's script was derivative and pandering because the movie cost more than 200 million dollars, and he wanted it to make money.
It takes skill to make a movie as generically good as Avatar- it takes no risks, and says nothing new, but it's structured so well audiences could ignore those shortcomings. That's not bad writing, it's just artistically reprehensible good writing.

Almost everything short of the technology used was tried and true cinematic structure. Avatar's a financial success for all the reasons Speed Racer and Sky Captain and the World of Tomorrow were failures, not least of those reasons being the writing.

Donnie Darko - Goddamned good movie
Alice in Wonderland (the new one) - meh, C+

Alice in Wonderland 2 - 68/100

I was not impressed at all. I especially disliked the reimagination of the mouse that lived on the teapot. He was a maniatic hyperactive and got replaced by an eye stabbing annoyance.

Seriously, what was the deal with the movie characters liking to poke eyes?

But I have seen way worse.

TabascoClock

Hot Tub Time Machine - 10/10

I was shocked by how fucking funny this movie was! Funniest movie since the Hangover in my opinion (I actually thought it was funnier than the Hangover), and some of the gags will definitely be remembered.

Go see it!

Serpico 8/10 - Stands out thanks to a memorable Pacino performance.

Falling Down 9/10 - Great movie that follows a man's extreme but somehow understandable reactions to daily annoyances.

Swimming with Sharks 7/10 - Decent comedy about a man trying to climb his way up on the ladder of showbusiness by doing everything for his asshole boss. Uses a flashback fueled narration and has a nice twist at the end.

Shoot 'em Up 8/10 - Great action movie parody. Really gave me a couple of good laughs.

The Thing 8/10 - Stylish and slowly building, but in the end left me with a feeling of incompletion, like the movie hadn't done enough with the story. But still a good film.

Street Smarts: 3/5
This was an educational movie our driving class was made to watch, however the movie was made in the 80's, which made it hilarious! It had slow-motion running with a "ch-ch-ch-ch" sound effect, Sony Walkman, roller-skates, and some jazzy background music.

The story centered around a father teaching his son about driving. Oh, and there was a "guardian angel" played by none other than Leonard Roberts! For reals! He taught us about the appropriate attitude to take with us on the road and whatnot, and to always remember to "keep our street smarts".

Overall the movie wasn't bad, but it would be better to find a more updated version to fit with this generation. The story was fine, the acting was alright, but nothing to really "wow" the audience with.

Into the Wild 4/5
I'm a bit torn on this one. While I can sympathize with the main character's desire to escape civilization and experience true freedom, I think he did it in a dumb ass way. It was inspiring though, and I envy his carefree lifestyle but ultimately his naiveness gets him killed
