Well, yes, I understand that, however the statements like "people who play gaia are gays/furries" is what I was getting at. If the cc doesn't want to be associated with the game, that's all fine and good, but people will always have different opinions. "We here at the cc don't like the game, it has too many stupid people on it." is a lot better than "You're a fag for playing the game."
