Korn. They got rich after their first few albums and the music just got stupid.
I generally don't listen to metal much anymore because I'm no longer an angsty teenager.

AlbinoClock

The Cruxshadows. I used to love this gothy bullshit when I was like 16 but then I saw them perform once while I was on LSD. I couldn't stop laughing at their singer's hair, and I've never been able to take them seriously since. Actually, after the show we came back in my car looking for more acid and I made them all sign my steering wheel while I refused to acknowledge them and tripped face.

Also Metallica. First because of Load and then moreso because of Napster (I don't even listen to their old stuff anymore).

Yeah, I noticed this too. I mostly listen to hiphop, musicals, and old rock now.

You don't have to be angsty and a teenager to like metal. :wiebel:

I'm not saying I never listen to metal anymore but I'm certainly not drawn to the angry riffs and lyrics in the way I used to be. I'd much rather listen to the Beatles. Anyway, nobody's made good metal in years.

OcarinaClock

Dragonforce

After I saw them live, I was scarred for life.  They were beyond garbage.

Never forget.
Quote from: GearBox;1349678The Clock Crew may die, IF we don\'t get more people like CrustClock, who are good at flash. Thankfully, people are coming back (ie, CorpseGrinder).

Topcatyo

Linkin Park.
I just decided one day "You know, I think I'll start listening to good music.
Limp Bizkit.
My balls dropped.
Guns N' Roses.
I dunno, now their music all seems just... corny as hell.

Whenever RomanCollar goes to 7-11 he gets a dick-flavored slurpee.

TabascoClock

Green Day, got tired of them when I got a real taste of music.

EnvelopeClock

I used to love Mindless Self Indulgence to death, but I started listening to them less and less until I stopped completely.

Moose Clock

The Beatles - when I realized most of their songs are over rated and about stupid shit.

CrustClock

Red Hot Chili Peppers, they're not completely awful, but I don't like Anthony Kedis' voice and I really don't like his lyrics.

Lol. All self-styled muso nerds go though this phrase. You'll realise you love them eventually.

I liked them, then didn't really like them, then about a year ago I rediscovered them and realized they really were as good as people made them out to be.

Same thing happened to me from 13-14ish. Although I'm pretty sure I consciously decided somehow in my stupid brain to HATE them solely because they were so legendary and I felt some imaginary obligation to like them. "GUESS WHAT," said stupid me, "I DON'T HAVE TO LIKE THEM - IN FACT - I... HATE THEM ."

AnimeClock

There was a phase where I dwelled on videogame and anime music. No regrettable band choices though :d

coalclock

Blink 182-I just kinda grew up and I couldn't really relate to the songs anymore.

Topcatyo

It's a shame with me liking The Beatles, because mine was more that I loved The Beatles but had absolutely no music by them but two songs until a year ago or so when my good friend Leo got me With The Beatles, and two weeks ago I found every song by them ever on the computer, so now I can listen to The Beatles, who remain amazing :)

TequilaClock

Linkin Park when everyone began o relate the emos with it directly.

Louie DeVito , not a band but I stopped listening to him because he began to do the same fucking potpourri everytime with different flavors, it was dull.

Green Day when American Idiot appeared. It was ironic the first album I got was Bullet in a Bible in christmas eve. St least it has a nice interpretation of Good Riddance.

Panda is a local band, it was all good but inmediatly became from classic punk to cookiecutter comercial  shit punk.

Limp Bizkit, Fred got apeshit about Britney and then simply stopped being cool.

Gorillaz because...  I dunno I got a  bit tired of their songs but some seasons I am in the mood of it. So I didnt totally stopped liking them.

MSI has turned into a bunch of whores. GIVE US YO MONEY, and they kicked out Jhonen Vasquez for the album art because the shitty blood splatter cover will supposedly sell better at walmart and hot topic, and now that the fanbase has been infested with 14 year old my chemistry romans emo fucks, ugh. never in a million years did I expect a band like them to literally sell out. It's mind boggling. I still love their music though, mark david chapman is the most clever song they've ever written.

Good Charlotte. I own three of their albums. Their lyrics are like the poems emo 13 year olds write on their shoes. I can't believe I used to like this band, they have no talent whatsoever.

Plus a lot of stuff people have already mentioned. Linkin Park etc

They chopped away Johnny? Ok now I just plainly dislike them.
