I'd have to say for myself, Linkin Park. Definitely Linkin Park
People are just kinda bugged that Muse has changed so much on their new album, I think black holes is an interesting new direction.

Quote from: UglyBastardSystem of a Down- I found Daron's whining singing on their last two albums (their two worst in my opinion) to ruin those albums completely for me. Plus, I've realised that they've ripped off Mr. Bungle on some of their songs. I still listen to them on occasion and still like them, however I understand why people hate them and I don't find them to be the best band ever as I used to think after listening to Toxicity back when it first came out.
Well if you hate daron you might like Serj's solo album, no daron at all. It's pretty different stylistically but I thought it was alright.

MonsterMunch

Aphex Twin and IDM in general.

I still to this day have no idea why I loved IDM for so long, one day I was listening to the album "Drukqs" and realised that it was shit.

Teapot

Wow. I hate a lot of the bands you guys mentioned. :<

I obviously got off my ass and got real music once I realized I was listening, of all the god awful things, to Linkin' Park and System of a Down.

Linkin' Park be cause I realized the lyrics were fucking horrible.

System of a Down because realistically he knows the current notes:
Yelling
Whispering
Choking

You can't deny it, listen to this crap.

The second track is but the rest is completely different. Lots of piano and strings with a dab of synth, it's a strange album.

Quote from: Moose Clock;1285059The Beatles - when I realized most of their songs are over rated and about stupid shit.

Why should the fact that they're overrated have anything to do with your appreciation for them?

he's obviously being a troll here, unless he's really that gullible

CaulkClock

The Rasmus - That first album was filled with catchy tracks a-plenty. Listening to it now, and the other albums they did, they're a bit shit. Also them playing live has to be one of the worst performances i've seen musician-wise.

Pink Floyd: Waters's voice is unbearable, the "Psychedelic Charm" was lost on me once I started listening to Shoegaze/Space Rock later on. It loses its charm quickly, it all runs together, and Watching the film based on The Wall ruined everything for me because it was so terrible.

huh, fair enough, since the "psychedelic charms (I'm assuming you mean the special effects they put in their songs)" is pretty much their main attraction, though I do agree that The Wall was pretty bad

Looking back, I find Hypnotise to be their best album.
