Let's Play: Logical Journey

I decided to play some old games from my childhood.  First I was going to play Hexen, a game where, when I was younger, I tried many times and always got stuck in the same spot and never knew what to do.  So, I downloaded several source ports of the internet (though, only ones that didn't add in new things like 3D graphics n'shit) and gave them a try.
None of them worked.
So, I figured I'd look for the CD itself.  Looking around my computer room, I didn't find it, which leads me to believe that it's in the basement in one of our many cardboard boxes we have stored around.  And those probably have spiders, so I'll wait until later till I look for it.
However, I did find this:


So I figured I'd give this a try instead.

I entered the disc in and a prompt came up asking me if I wanted to install it.  I did, so I did.
However, I got an idea.  Sometimes when playing old games, when you play them, they lower the resolution and end up completely messing up your desktop, so just in case, I made a restore point.


Then I went ahead with the installing.


4 megabytes?  Jesus, I have songs that are three times larger than that.
Ah, the good old days of games that didn't take up 4 gigabytes (fuckin' Half Life 2).

Unsurprisingly, the game took about a second to install.


A prompt came up asking me to install Quicktime, but I said no.  Fuck Quicktime, fuckin' peace of shit.

Now the time was to play the game.




Oops, well, shit.



Well, it looks like Logical Journey will, in fact, not work on my computer.  Looks like that was short-lived.


Well, at least it didn't fuck shit up, and the colors went normal again after the game shut down.

Edit Are you sure it wouldn't work if you installed QuickTime? Or do you already have a later version installed?

I don't have a DOS emulator or know where I would go about acquiring one
Also, I'm not so sure Logical Journey used DOS.
Actually, I'm fairly sure it didn't.

I checked that, and I don't see anything about DOS.
Then again, I really don't understand DOS other than I used it to play Pacman in Preschool.
