I was thinking the same thing. The only negatives things I can think to say about this episode would be that the robot guy with the little men inside reminded me of that movie 'Meet Dave', and that for something called 'Lets Kill Hitler' I really would have liked to see more Hitler. The latter of those gripes obviously being really stupid and petty.

But overall, yeah. I'll be back next week.

this was me at the beginning of this series. i just chugged through the episode with megavideo on my craptop + dorm wi-fi so it took like 3 hours to watch this one episode. glad i got through it and the jolly good doctor is back in full swing. kind of sad that river song's story arc is probably over and we still don't know how the doctor escapes death (we'll probably find that out by series end though). also knowing that they consider the regeneration limit canon and they're going to have to find a cop out every couple doctors from now on

Umm, don't you know that the Doctor Who universe works in any which way that suits the writers' needs? Every villain is defeated and every problem is solved with "aha! I just remembered this bit of information about how to fix this problem even though there was not any hint of there being a way out since the start of the last three episodes! I AM THE DOCTOR (murray gold dum dum dum du dum dum dad dad tsa ka tsa katstsa ka) AND III AM CLEVER."

I'm not sure I get how your sonar/indirect view theory defeats the weeping angels. If you can't see them, you can't quatum lock them.

Right, but seeing them is also the only way to keep them from getting at you. Some kind of sonar kit would keep you from 'observing' them, giving them the perfect opportunity to do their doings.

Why would the Doctor be so afraid of them when he's able to whip up mad gadgets at the top of a hat and could just as easily create an eye-covering sonar helmet? Fucking batman did it.

I am still on the third doctor, but so far I can't imagine how any of the subsequent doctors can outdo the second. That guy was so awesome, and it totally sucks that half of his stories are missing.
