I've had my nose cauterized.
It was uncomfortable as all hell for the next couple of days.  After that, though, I've never felt better.
In my nose, at least.

Story: One day I was driving home (alone) from school (last day) and my lip fucking exploded in a fountain of bloody horror.  So I sped home, bled into the sink for ~20 minutes and it eventually stopped.  All is well.  Except for my T shirt which went from white to a splotch of pure red, and a fair amount on my pants and the seatbelt.

Then in August, at a birthday party with 25+ squeemish Asian girls and 5ish guys, it decided to explode again.  I squirted (edit: I squirted blood.  Blood.) into the bathroom sink for ~30 minutes and then decided to put pressure on it, which didn't fix it for a good 2 hours.  Great party!

Then I saw a dermatologist about it today and got it ripped out and sealed up.
