The best feeling in the world is when you need to do something but don’t really want to and then discovering you actually don’t have to do it until a couple of days from now

Fuck laundry I’m staying in bed for another two hours

Any of you follow basketball, or any American sports in general?

I couldn't sleep last night, and as I was flipping through the channels I came across the Cavaliers - Pelicans game. Having never seen an actual full basketball game before (outside of Space Jam), I thought sure why not. It was a very strange experience, not so much the game itself, but all the shit around it. There was a lottery where they threw these little parachutes from the rafters and I was like this is a multi-million, if not billion dollar industry, I wonder what the prize is going to be... it turned out to be a t-shirt. Not even a jersey, no a single t-shirt with some horrible print. Enjoyed that? Now watch twenty children dancing. The halftime show was an Asian lady on a very high unicycle balancing bowls on her head and feet, set to geisha music. There were these really short, awkward interviews where both the interviewer and interviewee apparently were unable to speak in anything but platitudes. An interview with an assistant coach? Sure, that at least makes sense. But now, here's an interview infomercial with a new sponsor which boils down to: "Eat our N'Orleans food, it's really good!" "It sure is Steve!" Also, here's the elementary school coach of one of the players, "He was great then, and he's great now." "Thanks very much, Jim." Now here is a screen with some of the statistics from the game sponsored by Cheetos, read aloud and cut off about halfway through to show footage of players warming up. Forget that! Here's a contest where a guy from the crowd has to throw giant sugarcubes into a giant coffeecup with a giant teaspoon for some reason? We're only going to show you half an attempt because remember that super cool t-shirt lottery from before? Now were apparently just firing them into the crowd in bulk, using cannons and slingshots. "Okay the game is over and it was the best, Karen you'll be doing the postgame analysis?" "Sure thing Stacy, and the only thing that would make that postgame analysis any better is jambalaya and Dixie Beer [actual sponsor]!" Are you being ironic Karen because I can't even tell anymore.

You people are weird.

We're also weird. The actual commentary was done by a(n apparently only semi-)retired, legendary Dutch sportscaster. Apparently someone was like, "Oh you're really into basketball right? Why not commentate on games on an obscure channel in the middle of the night as a retirement present?" My favorite thing was something he said. There was a guy sitting in the crowd, probably an ex-player judging from the diamond necklace and uninterested stare, and the commentator said something along the lines of, "That's [can't remember] I have an in memoriam card for his dead sister."

I was a little buzzed, but now I wonder if there was acid in the beer or something.

Also, I didn't forget that I was going to comment "to" on http://joeneato.newgrounds.com/news/post/790220#comments on Sept 17, 2017. I set up an alert in multiple places back then and never actually forgot, anyway. BB10 just broke my combo. He is comment pollution.

Also I can't let go of what a huge loss this is to the world of E-performance art

Oh, ignoring would have been a much better idea. I have him blocked from my stuff. Should probably unblock him and ignore instead so he can keep screaming into the void on my news journal

thank you for reminding me what it's all about

the touchdown
<Marlin Clock> This thread seems proof positive that divisiveness at any level is usually bad for the Clock Crew.
<PhantomCatClock> are we talking about the same clock crew

I took a girl home last night and we were just sitting on the couch watching a movie and I kind of started rubbing her arm, you know? And she looked at me and smiled and said "mmm... that's nice..."

Then I started rubbing her other arm and she said "No! I don`t like" and then left

Sounds like you started out by rubbing her right arm, but when you rubbed her left arm she was already gone...

This is it gang. The lamest joke in the history of humanity. The Clock Crew has now fulfilled its destiny and can be dismantled, so you guys take care of that while I defenestrate myself.
