In his first solo cartoon, he, Wimpy, and Olive sail onto the North American shore. He then punches down half a forest, the trees falling to form a log cabin, and Wimpy instructs him to go retrieve roast duck for dinner. Popeye then engages in guerrilla warfare with the Native American population.

RobClock

okay I don't mean to be mr. postsayoutube allasudden but wow Angel Hare was good

I normally don't go in for "creepy" youtube series at all
like as soon as they started calling analog horror "analog horror" I pretty much checked out because experience tells me ~99% of it is going to be crap from that point forward

but Angel Hare was very good. I teared up a couple times
lonk

it's also very concise, there's two seasons and they're only about half an hour each

and, you really don't need to watch the second season unless you like super want closure after the first bit (ends with "a final call")
it doesn't tread on anything that the first part did well, it expands on it pretty elegantly and I like what it adds, but it's kind of a Casino Royale/Quantum of Solace thing, it's nice to fill out that last beat of the emotional arc but do you really need an epilogue-addendum-coda that's feature length? well it's here if you want

Not gonna lie, I never really got into analogue horror.
Sure I watch it here and there because I find the story interesting. But usually none of them I consider to be "scary."
Though there are some like "Possibly in Michigan" that give me the creeps because it just feels very off.
I haven't heard of Angel Hare before, but based off your review it sounds very interesting! I will give it a watch!

there's an attorney whose commercial keep coming on during judge judy and he goes "I'm john morgan of morgan & morgan" then later he says "there's only one morgan & morgan"

I kinda want to record it and chop the shit out of it so he says "I'm john morgan morgan morgan morgan. I'm morgan. there's only one morgan morgan" etc but I probably won't actually get around to it

I think about jpop stans every time I think about kpop stans

I feel like western jpop stanning is almost strictly for people just a little older than me. I remember people who would put dir en grey in their livejournal "current song," but I went to college with people who were already on to kpop, never to look back

I never thought I'd say this, but it's a tough time to be a japanese person with a funny hairstyle
<Marlin Clock> This thread seems proof positive that divisiveness at any level is usually bad for the Clock Crew.
<PhantomCatClock> are we talking about the same clock crew

that is exactly what brought them to mind lol

FLOUNDERMAN_CLOCK

I forget about those people sometimes. it was this whole big thing and now nobody remembers it. I barely remember it, but it was definitely an aesthetic I can picture when I close my eyes. I really liked the anime songs L'A'r'c-e'n-Ci-El did. are they that too? That They? I think they are.
