The first Star Wars became like ten times better when I realized there weren't supposed to be any continuations to that story, even the two that I like
wow, thats cool!
i didnt know that...

i agree with you that the original 3 star wars movies were good.

however, i must warn you, i am not that fond of star wars...
i just like the first movies.

in other news, i really like LOTR/the hobbit. it was/is awesome.

LotR didn't happen. Stop changing the subject to fiction when we're talking about Star Wars.

speaking of star wars being absolutely nonfiction and not made up, somebody pointed out that the opening of Star Wars is literally meant to recall fairy tales

i.e. a long time ago -> once upon a time
in a galaxy -> in a land
far far away -> far far away

that's real cool idk how i never noticed that
maybe you just kind of become inoculated to things that are sufficiently ubiquitous and don't really think about them

but it makes me appreciate the science-fantasy aspect of it more. it's kind of, uh. "tale as old as time," you know? this is a story that's been with us for as long as there have been stories. which, yeah, per joseph campbell, it kind of has been. but it's underscoring the fact that it's a story, and that kind of disarms criticisms you could level at it on that basis. it's proud to be a story. that's real cool.

storytelling/fairytales are a timeless thing.
everyone used to love them, and everyone will love them.

thats why star wars is so successful, i guess. it tries to combine basic emotional instincts, (f.e. avenging your father's loss, dealing with personal loss, tales of bravery, the fear of our ''dark'' side, fear of death/the unknown, our lust for technological advancement/exploration and then you can add some romance/love at first sight, put in some cool mentor/student moments of wisdom, along with some nice twists of surprise and betrayal, and you've got a nice story/fairytale that talks to (almost) everyone.)

so, yeah, lucas has created something genius in here.

too bad that his greed has ruined the series with all those sequels/prequels/sequels of the prequels.

So this Selena Gomez song is on that's all like 'I wanna look good for you.." talking about how she's likes getting dolled up to keep her man in check.

I say to my ladyfriend 'you used to be like that but now you've gotten too comfortable and don't care,' pointing out how she wears baggy clothes and a ponytail around my place (while getting all gussied up for work everyday.)

She says 'well, I shave my kitty... that's just for you, baby.'

'No. You shave your kitty for yourself. Because you know it increases your chances of getting kitty kisses. Don't even..'

This is romance.

indeed.

also, seeing her first reply, i was going to say ''oooh pops, you got burned!'', but your next reply was so true and awesome, that im gonna say to your girl: ''OOHHH YOU GOT BURNED BY POPS, GIRL!'' (just saying, plz dont get offended by this my good sir pop-tart)

yeah.

also i hate giving sushi to a girl. i hate it so much that i try to avoid it at all costs.
mainly because its dirty and it (sometimes) smells bad.
i try to persuade them in having a bath before we ''go''.
sometimes it works, (as a romantic/intimate thing we do together), sometimes it doesnt.

yup.

but i really dont like 'sushi'.

to be fair, im very clean myself, so the ladies shouldn't complaint. (also i do not demand them to give me a 'hot-dog' too often, so there's that as well).

I've mentioned before, Tuesday is usually our designated fuck day. So she usually makes sure she's showered and all. She's sleeping in my bed right now. She's probably expecting me to wake her up but quite honestly, I'm stressed this week from work and don't feel like doing anything but sleeping right now.

I don't mind going down on her. Turning her on obviously turns me on. But she's spoiled as hell. She either doesn't reciprocate or will only do it for a couple of minutes (whereas I was down under long enough for "In-A-Gadda-Da-Vida" to play through.) The ruse is always the same... "*moan" I need you inside of me..." No. You're just being a brat.

Sushi, lol.
