you're really the only person I know who still pays money for WoW, so i'm coming to your for impressions. I hear Varian dies and they make a big fucking ordeal out of it, and Vol'jin dies totally arbitrarily to make Sylvanas the warchief (for no discernible reason?????????/?) despite them hating one another and the undead being actively distrusted by the rest of the horde

I've actually been playing more OlSkoo Runescape than is healthy because my shitty laptop can't run the new graphic system in WoW. Learned that in the prepatch. I'm getting a new computer as soon as Big High War God updates one of the lines I was looking at, then I'll letchoo know

And neato, I wanted Sylvanas to be warchief. I feel like, since maybe halfway through Pandaria, the orcs and the undead were the only real superpowers left in the Horde, and it wasn't just that nobody trusted the undead, but that the undead trusted nobody. It wasn't just Putriss in Wrathâ€"ever played the Undead starting area? edit: in Vanilla Or like, up to their level 50 area? Seriously, every zone in northern EK is like "man how can we make a better plague/sure would be nice to get revenge on the humans" just until they found a better creative outlet. Then won that war so it's back to their old habits.


I actually don't know anything about Legion's story except that Varian dies (I like to sperience the lore, but that was an unavoidable one) and frankly Varian wasn't even a marginally relatable character until the cutscene introducing Legion so everybody should've seen his death coming a mile away like my own father's and as worried as I am about the Horde with Sylvanas in charge, it's not nearly as (less literally) boned than Anduin being back in charge of Stormwind. Someone re-resurrect Onyxia.

I've always been an Alliance guy but seriously fuck Varian. Marysue bullshit character with generic action anime tier backstory and ugly hair who blizzard have been forcing as the defacto leader of the alliance and 'totally cool guy trust me everyone you should like him' since Wrath. Glad he's dead, wish it didn't get a shit ton of fanfare.
