I was watching that Netflix Castlevania show I mentioned on the last page and I was a bit concerned about how much quipping Trevor Belmont was doing and how the main villain seemed to be the Catholic Church instead of, you know, the vampires and demons and guff. Things really started to pick up in episode four, and when the credits came up it was brought to my attention that there were no more episodes to watch. So that was a bit frustrating.

The animation is pretty good; I like how they kept the CGI stuff to a minimum or at least disguised it well. It's got an old school feel to it. I'm glad they didn't hold back on the gore and violence.

Trevor Belmont is too pompous though, and looks like a douche with his fancy fur coat. Having the church as an antagonist doesn't bother me so much, as it adds another layer of complexity and gives meaning to Dracula's motivations.

My only guess as to why they only put out 4 episodes is that they weren't too confident in it, and wanted to test it out before making a big commitment.

Spider man homecoming was pretty good, it had all the problems I expected it to have like tying spideys character way too closely to iron man and shit but it was entertaining so whatever

It physically pained me to see Brian Michael Bendis listed in the credits alongside the likes of Jack Kirby, John Romita and Steve Ditko. Fucking hack fraud. Related; it was cool that Ditko got credited with Stan Lee for creating Spider-Man, I feel like it's just easier to ignore him since he turned into a big ryandian prick and dropped off the face of the earth.
