Psh, no. If you want to hear bands whose songs sound exactly the same, nickelback godsmack and cannibal corpse are far better options. AC/DC has some strong recurrent themes but not quite the "mix up the albums and see if their fans can tell" thing that the other ones I mentioned have.

I don't like AC/DC either. Don't care who does. It's just the same thing with every overrated classic hard rock act, eg Led Zeppeling. People get up in arms and cuss me out. "YOU DON'T LIKE FUCING AC/DC?!?!?! BEST BAND EVER!!!" To which I say, "name 2 songs." End of conversation.

I've had the conversation enough times in my life. "XXX band is the greatest ever!" "What's your favorite album by them?" "Uh, you know, the one with that ONE song! Yeah!"

Your average American has probably never owned a record. The other 12 songs on it aren't any good, obviously, or they'd be on the radio.

Fact is people don't care about music. I'm the only person I know that will listen to a CD, not a playlist of random songs. Young people can't even distinguish between different singers' voices now, they think The Doors and Journey are the same band. People don't know anything about bands, and don't pursue music, they just want what's on in the background to sound tolerable.
