Disabled you say?

This morning, I woke up, and signed into my Facebook account without a care in the world.
This afternoon, when I get home from work, I try to sign into my Facebook account and I'm told it's been disabled.  I've emailed the support address twice now to no avail, and after doing a bit of research I'm finding entire websites dedicated to talking about how Facebook frequently disables peoples accounts for no apparent reason.  Often with people never getting them back.  This means that they lose all of their photographs, videos, and anything else that you can possibly think of.  The crazy part about this though, is that once you upload something onto Facebook, it becomes, to a degree, their property.  Once you are no longer affiliated with Facebook, they are free to do whatever they wish with your uploads.

I've come to the conclusion that if I don't just get my current Facebook account back, I probably won't bother with Facebook anymore.  It would be too hard to track down all of my friends again, and I would feel too paranoid and bitter about uploading anything anymore, so what would be the point?

The purpose to my post, other than to bitch and complain, was to ask if anyone else has had, or knows anybody who has had, or is aware of any problems with Facebook.  After reading all of the stories I did today, I'm curious.

I have never had this happen to me, but I can imagine I'd be pissed if it did. I wouldn't lose any pics or videos, but I always like going back through old comments, notes, quzzes, etc. so that would suck losing those.
