Well, I know I'm going to get stoned to death by you people, but I decided that any attention is good attention. Constructive criticism is openly welcome. Wow, I haven't been on in a while.

VCRClock

Hi I'm ThorClock and here are my complaints

  • Work on the timing of your cuts, so that the viewer doesn't see someone turning away from the camera or laughing after they're done delivering their line. Also when you were doing quick cuts ("cleaning your...") you seemed to be speaking slower than before, which detracted from the overall effect.
  • The blue polo shirt may not seem important, but it sort of is: huge text on t-shirts draws attention away from faces, gestures, the "product," etc.
  • Shots that were meant to seem as if they were taking place in other buildings looked as if they were all shot in the same building (probably because they were.) If you can't overcome this obstacle by shooting elsewhere, choosing incongruous-looking rooms for the action, or being creative with the scenery, write so that you don't have to use a number of different settings.

I didn't think it was that funny, but it wasn't really awful. I'm sure I'm leaving out a bunch of smaller things to complain about but I've probably said enough already.
<Marlin Clock> This thread seems proof positive that divisiveness at any level is usually bad for the Clock Crew.
<PhantomCatClock> are we talking about the same clock crew

That was actually quite helpful. Well you see, scenery is a no go, and everyone was sleeping, and it's storming out. And all my clothes are packed away, as I'm leaving this place in the morning, because I actually thought about changing my shirt. Thanks for the constructive crit!

Edit: on one part, I did have to keep a laughing bit at the end (the "I don't have to buy guns" part) just because I liked it that way, but the rest was sloppy and careless editing.

Chalk Clock

that was bad. but not in a bad way. in a funny way.  I like that whole, done in your bedroom with some help from your dad aspect.

K3LTR0N

Thor

I agree with VCR clock. Not great, not terrible. Nintendos video is a perfect example of the power of understatement and deadpan to make "lol so randum" humor actually work.

I liked the hooker jokes though. Nice to have an recurring gag.
Quote from: MafiaMettaurWhat the hell is with that shit you posted? You know what, I'm joining the Locks, just to stop stuff like you!
Quote from: polyhedronclockYou're a fucking clock, what else do you have?
To be fair, you don't have anything. Clocks are just machines that tick.

GodClock

there was a good concept there but the execution was not so much, still not bad

Thank you one and all. And yes, Nintendo's is probably the best parody I've seen.
