Okay, this one is pretty fucking subtle: if you've seen the hidden room with the robot images, you may remember that the red heavy, scout, and spy were standing around the robot images looking at them. Those three, the ones that know about the robots are all looking at the red engineer at the top of the page at http://www.teamfortress.com


This isn't the only evidence of the red engineers involvement with this whole thing. You can also see the robot demoman's head in the trailer video for the Engineer update

You need to noclip through a door that says "top secret" to see them in both cases. The cowering heavy, scout, and spy are actually in the map itself.

Looking at the video again, I see a canteen of some sort once on the poket table, and again on the soldier. New misc! It also looks like it has a customizable decal.

There have been a few accidental leaks that imply heavily that Half Life 3 will be announced at Gamescon. I don't usually buy into this stuff but this one seems pretty legit.

1. Leaked Gamescon schedule has Half Life 3 on the list of events
2. HL3 logo on a video of a new Mad Catz keyboard http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=d-dRqjXi3i0
3. Game Informer, which has a history of announcing Valve games, has delayed the printing of their magazine for the first time in history until after gamescon because there's some major game announcement that's going to happen and it's on the cover of the magazine.

if you fail, you get ticket back. if you pass, you can replay that mission forever, or buy another and go harder.

It's pretty great, I've gotta say. Obviously unfinished but what's there so far is great.

The one and only thing that kept me from playing CS:S a lot more was my inability to find a decent server. There were like 60k servers, most of which were crap. They were either modded or they actually used classic settings but had like 32+ player slots. Because of there being so much crap I had trouble finding the good servers buried among them.

I like that CS:GO still has the server browser if you choose to use that but also pretty competent matchmaking to place you in classic game mode servers. I heard there might be an actual ranked matchmaking option in the final game, though I can't cite any source on that.

MvM is pretty fun. Definitely better off manually searching for a server than queueing.
