Quick tut for Firefox's CZ because it's easy.

1. If you have Firefox google chatzilla and install it
2. If you don't have Firefox kill yourself
3. Run chatzilla by clicking tools in the top left of your Firefox page and then click chatzilla
4. In the bar near the bottom of the program type "/attach river.serenia.net" with no quotes
5. Once words stop scrolling up on your screen, you're attached to the server. It's kind of like logging on AIM. It allows you to talk to people within that server. Type "/join #clockcrew" with no quotes
6. Right click the tab for river.serenia.net and click "open this network at startup"
7. Same with #clockcrew, click "open this channel at startup"

Gratz nigga now whenever you exit, all you need to do is open the program again and it should bring you straight to our IRC channel.

i would argue mIRC is easier once you get past the challenge of typing the server name into the text box thingy
(you don't even have to sign up)
but anyway given that AIM blast was easier to use i do have other reasons for despising it

1. i dont have some sort of supercomputer (im just using a lil notebook pc) so when aim blast gets too active (too active how ridiculous) the client literally freezes up until people shut the fuck up and finally 'enter' registers and my message is sent. my comment appears at the end of a long conversation and nobody knows what the hell i am talking about

2. all those gay noises aim makes piss me off

3. i wasnt invited to the fancy shmancy anime blast up until after i made this thread today and i even doubt that will last long. it wouldnt be the first, second or even third time people were impulsively removed without warning or valid reason

4. all the OGs like IRC

You can turn them off, you know

the !soundoff command only works in the blast group
and it only affects incoming IMs

You troll a lot and folks added you not knowing you had been banned for trolling a lot.

I think it's basically just gonna come down to apples and oranges each time. Not an awful lot harder installing either in my experience. I find IRC to have far more tools for customizing channels among a lot of other shit. I can respect someone that uses AIM because they have a lot of friends on there anyway but honestly it's not that hard to leave both open.
