I love D2, and it was a huge part of my childhood/early adolescence, and I'll still play it from time to time, but I tend to play Titan Quest more these days.

Besides, wow is a completely different style of game, I don't think they're comparable.

By "Better" I mean more up to date, 3d graphics with advanced physics, newer, etc. The storyline of D2 is hard to beat, but there are newer and more advanced games in the genre.

holydins are the only useful paladins

horde > alliance btw alliance is filled with more goldspammers.
 
i got 3 in goldspammers in stormwind near the AH when i was levelling my tankadin

Holydins are pretty much shit in PvP in anything other than 5v5.
Then again that goes for Ret aswell, so just don't roll a paladin.
Unless you plan on being a tank and doing lolpve.


edit: Also yeah, Horde racials > Alliance racials.
Perception is the only good alli racial anyways.

I was a bit apprehensious about buying the game at first, but yinyang and some other people I know who play it urged me to get it. it's really fun doing instances and stuff with people you know.
