is that why you said legs are ok lol?

Munglai

I like the idea that they're just disposable bodies that clocks put on for fun sometimes like Nixon in Futurama getting on the headless body of Agnew

Very fine idea, i might have to animate this...

FishbagClock

I just like the idea that clocks can be in what ever form they want, when ever they want. They can live any where and be any nationality. Clocks can change the ethnic history and place, time and origin any time they want.  There are like a 100 different fictional ideas of the origin of clock floating around Newgrounds and it's all just part of the fun.

But like PropagandaClock said, when a clock movie is serious, you use bodies and proper human anatomy, and when it's just for shits and giggles and to piss people off, you use objects with floating clocks for faces. It's all fun.

Makes perfect sense to me.

I never liked the look of clocks with whole bodies. I kills the clock spirit and at that point there is no reason to even use clocks any more. Most of the bodied clock flashes are just generic flashes with clock faces stapled on the main characters heads and a few fleeting clock memes thrown in. Sure they're good movies, but they're not really CLOCK movies. Also, they usually take them selves too seriously, but not in the good ironic way.
Quote from: Slurpee;1648061conversely, folks may just not know how to deal with an unconventional group of characters like the clock crew and are trying to make it palatable and mundane, and that's terrible.

This

EDIT: I was going too say i'd never use them but then I remembered I did in my micheal jackson ones. poop poot

anyway i hope it never passes its current place as "rarely used single movie gimmick"

EDIT AGAIN:

Come to think of it, there's not really any good reason for the current set up with the clock on top of the object itself like we currently do. The first SBCs changed form with every video. I'm going to try to be more different next movie ok

Quote from: polyhedronclockYou're a fucking clock, what else do you have?
To be fair, you don't have anything. Clocks are just machines that tick.

Quote from: RibsClock;1648483Really, as far as being rigid in the form of artistic expression I think that's a way to really kill creativity.

There's nothing wrong with having a body and there's nothing wrong with not having a body.

Draw clocks the way that looks good.

You wish.

I have to say the first thing that came to mind was a red piece of asparagus.
