Only real complaint I have about SC5 is the single player content which is thoroughly lacking. Where's the tower of lost souls? The special challenges? I had so much shit to do on my own in SC4 ( the tower of lost souls being one of my proudest achievements ), but SC5 lacks alot to do in single-player.

That said, I didn't get SC5 to have fun jerking to it by myself, I bought it for when I have friends over and we want to beat shit into eachother. The combat is still very soul calibur-esque and some new combat mechanics are very welcome ( Critical edge ).

I still have to try the online system, we'll see how that turns out.

Ah, well damn. I don't like playing fighting games competitively, so I pretty much exclusively live off of the single player content. I was going to wait on SC5 anyway, but that's just one more reason to wait for it to drop to $30.

Yeah, if it wasn't to entertain the friends and myself, I probably wouldn't of got this either. It's fun, but the multiplayer is clearly the glorious aspect of it.

From what I hear though, the online system is fantastic and full of neat features. I can't wait to get off work and try it out for myself.

There is one singleplayer mode called 'Legendary Souls'. I like to call it Get-fucked-by-Kilik-100-times-before-getting-pissed-and-rage-quitting mode. Seriously, it's fucking hard. Really, really fucking hard.

EDIT: What kinda busted my balls a bit is that you can't make a custom character with Ezio's fighting style. Something about Ubisoft being gay about it. He has a really fun playing style, too.

I've heard this is better than the actual campaign, so I'm holding out a shimmer of hope. Besides which, It was only $2.50 so I can't imagine it not being worth it.
