man the first roman emperor's got some kawaii ass eyes

FLOUNDERMAN_CLOCK

when it was first sculpted it was painted like this:

Slurpee

me reading hobbes:

me reading rousseau:

philosophy is easy. somebody should pay me to annotate every great work of philosophy and say if it's bad or good

PhantomCatClock

you can solve most of philosophy by jumping

PhantomCatClock

a compass within ten feet of flounderman will point at flounderman, and while the catch rate is 0% pokeballs do work on him

what am i missing

how does this tie into the bigger picture

that's leftover data from a scrapped expanded sidequest in the gen 1 remakes for switch. you were supposed to catch that flounderman in a cutscene. see, looking back at when rousseau abandoned his infant children so he could ho it up in england (until hume ruined it) what people don't remember is that his babymomma was cubone's mother and this would have factored into the lavender town segment of the game. and that cubone? that was alber einstflounderman clock. catchable in this early version of the game before the story was scrapped so they would have more time to add motion controls.

conversely hobbes would have been raped by a typhlosion as we saw in the diamond and pearl lore leaks but that's another story. kant too he also gets raped. I am the typhlosion in all scenarios. this bizarre chronomagnetic anomaly is why compasses point to me. and that's why accordions are so expensive.

all of this is canon.

FLOUNDERMAN_CLOCK

I made "millionaire" shortbread the other day. it's a glorified twix bar.

making caramel is tricky but it was worth it.

yeah, I'm pretty sure I remember reading that somewhere

wow! scientists declare "absolutely no fossil evidence" for heterosexual dogs

mindblowing

it was the least surprising one, by the way. i clicked solely because i knew the last one would be the least surprising and it was.

the first one was a timing technique, the second one was a consistency technique, and i shit you not the third one was being bad at bellows. "remember to don't be bad at the bellows" — real quote

Slurpee

*nodding intelligently, wearing glasses, waiting for you to finish speaking*

the bellows is the squishy squashy part that makes the honk come out?

PhantomCatClock

it also makes the honk go back in. like the humble harmonica before it, the mighty concertina plays a different note when it comes the other way

also speaking of harmonicas, 1) i cannot believe how good this $200 splinterbox sounds, but 2) it definitely sounds like a (loud) harmonica, even more than other squeezeboxes

harmonicas...

man my brain ain't going tonight. I got like a whole thing I want to say about harmonicas. something about the... the embochure. no.
I learned harmonica
when you
orz

harmonicas,

Slurpee

oh
so,

it took me a really long time to figure out bending notes on a harmonica, because every single explanation does a bad job of explaining it. finally I discovered the one harmonica teacher on earth who can write sentences good and I realized bending notes was actually pretty much the first thing I figured out how to do after lip blocking, on accident, I just didn't know that that's what bending notes was

that's actually not that interesting I don't know why I wanted to share that

Slurpee

fucking chemo brainfog came back to me this week out of fucking nowhere. it's been like 14, 15 months since I ended treatment, I don't remember when my last infusion was, and I don't remember when the fogginess "ended" but it's definitely chemo brain. it was insane sitting in my physics class and looking at a circuit diagram and being asked a simple fucking question and suddenly realizing my brain is just back in the "huh? what...? ??? the.... ?.? I... hah,,, ?? ah, yes, th... ???" zone and I was just going to need to wait for it to pass. and it did pass and when I went back to that question I was like "jesus christ my lab partner must think I'm an absolute moron"

PhantomCatClock

tell them it's actually because you're really smart

Slurpee

imagine if you could do this:

wow!
a beautiful dream

unfortunately in the 478 years since the word processor was invented, millions of geniuses have poured all of their resources into this problem, and nobody has ever been able to figure out how it could be done. alas it appears to be a completely intractable problem with no solution. anyway, would you like to insert a smart chip calendar event?
