I don't know if Talladega Nights was highly rated or not but I'm going to guess it was by the fact I saw some lame Youtube thing of 30 year old office workers wearing their halloween costumes and one of them was dressed as Ricky Bobby.

Well Superman barely made up to the WB's expectations and the budget is seriously cut for the sequel. I'd have to go with Pirates but I'm sure there's more overrated stuff in 06 I haven't seen.

Noo i noticed that you recommended it though, so i'll try and get around to watching it ASAP. There are loads of potentially cool movies I haven't seen yet. :'(

I thought Crash was pretty interesting, myself, despite being waaay over the top with its racial themes. Had a great ambient soundtrack, if nothing else. It could have been overrated, though.

Nowhere near as much as any other movie listed in this thread so far, thoug. Superman Returns and Pirates 2 were pretty bad, Talledega was only barely better thanks to it having Ali G in it. I kinda liked Beerfest, but it sucked compared to their previous movies...still I'm sure they had a hell of a lot of fun making it.

Yeah that happened to me until I just decided to download a bulk of movies I wanted to see

It's ok in my mind as long as I buy the good ones on DVD

ffff Superman Returns and Pirates of the Caribbean were jolly well entertaining, if a bit bland and silly. Talladega Nights was just rubbish. Its big giant joke was someone running around in their underwear.
