I'm hoping so.
I love the Max Payne series, so I'm really hoping that they make a third one at some point in my lifetime.

Well, with the Max Payne Movie on the way, it would only make sense for the studio to attempt to capitalize on the resurrection of the franchise.

I loved the Max Payne series, but it's difficult to shake the feeling that a new title, after so much time has passed, would just be another bland, samey shooter, packed with clichés and minimalistic gameplay. I'll be keeping my fingers crossed. It would be great for a new, innovative sequel to rise up and set the world on fire.

I'm praying that the new Max Payne game has nothing to do with a movie, and the movie is more like a retelling of the first game.

Max Payne 3 sounds sweet, but I'd also love to see the movie.  Hopefully both will coincide-- that would make sense for marketing.

I like the story in the first one, and how it turned out that his wife's actions started all the trouble, and the fact that he was a cop didn't have anything to do with it (unusual for the genre), and the end villain was an evil middle-aged woman (also unusual for the genre). Too bad we couldn't shoot her-- I really wanted to.

I actually haven't played Max Payne 2 yet!  I want to get the PC version, but I don't want to until I get a faster computer so it'll look great (it deserves to).  I could also get the PS2 version, but from playing the PS2 port of the first game, I can clearly tell that the game had been damaged in the transition.  Analog sticks don't aim well.

... geez, I need a new avy soon.

Yeah, that's what I'd like to see, but screenwriters are too incompetent to do it, apparently. Super Mario Brothers, Silent Hill, Tomb Raider or the six million unnecessary and incoherent Resident Evil films, for instance.

How was the Hitman movie, by the way?

The entire movie will be in bullet time.

When I was younger, like 11, I wrote a Max Payne based essay for school! I got an A!

TropicanaClock

If Remedy isn't developing it, then I don't think the game will be that great.
Then again it could.

same, i've been meaning to replay through the first one. Those nightmare levels scared the hell out of me when I was younger.

I prefer the first game much more over the second game.  The second game bugs me for some reason.

Yeah I only really enjoyed the first one, I couldn't even find myself to go through the second one for some reason.

I couldn't wait any more.  I bought Max Payne 2 for PS2.  If it looks like crap, I'll just have to deal with it.
