The difference is that the people who didn't like 2004's outcome were louder and quicker to find shit to blame. In 2008 the loud people were not only the majority, but victorious.

I've had times when I've tried to kill people due blind rage but I've failed due lack of tools to do so, I hjumped on a guys head, I hit one with a frying pan etc.
Thing is alot of people have this animalistic rage that will just surface once you are pushed to far, when you do you just want to kill this source of frustration and will take any tool in an effort to do so.

You can check statistics, even though I doupt you have not heard them a thousand times already, there are no reasons what so ever to carry around guns or to have asmany guns as the USA has.
There is a reason you are fourth in the world at murders even though you're a western country.
My country of 9 million has 11 murders a year, yours of 300 million has over 12 000 GUN murders a year, not counting all other violent crimes related to the effects.

I've heard some stories about Republicans flipping shit at school.  Several people said they're moving, one person told me that their uncle was so Republican that he threatened his family with disownment if they voted for Barack, and I know one girl who said her aunt was so angry at the results that she refuses to invite her (the girl's) mother because she voted for Barack Obama.
Both parties are sore losers and they're stupid for being sore losers.
