I don't know if this is gonna remain true but in my mind right now the first thing I'm gonna do when this is over is go to one of those german pubs that also serves bratwurst. and have some beer and some bratwurst. fuck me that sounds so awesome right now. beers and brats

I'm not supposed to drink which normally wouldn't be a problem for me but I guess just the fact that I'm not supposed to keeps putting it on my mind. would kill to go out with friends tonight, get some beer and delicious bullshit pub sausages to shovel into my slackened maw like an animal. and fries. no sauerkraut though, I'm a brat. (not a bratwurst, an unruly child.) and go see ninja turtles. or talk to me. or last voyage of the demeter. man I haven't wanted to go to a movie theater so bad in ages. it's funny and dumb, the things you miss

Does alcohol have amplified effects due to the chemo? I didn't know you weren't allowed to drink during treatment other than I assumed they generally frown upon you doing so as an inpatient.

I'm actually not sure

it might be because lymphoma affects the liver, it also might be that they just would prefer there not to be any more complicating factors

'cause like I'm also taking a multivitamin (mainly at my parents' insistence; the more I look into it the more it seems like you get all the vitamins you need just from eating right, and if your body gets more vitamins than it needs you basically just pee them out) and the doctors were all "that's fine, whatever, but don't take it the day of an infusion, because there's already gonna be too much shit going on" and I was kinda like "vitamins, really?" shrug
