there are definitely jokes that were Japanese puns that they didn't even bother to try to rework for English. They just translated them word for word, which I guess I also appreciate

I always enjoyed that about the game. it made for a really unique and strange feel to the world. I only just found out the original devs are actually getting together for a not-goemon to get around konami being terrible. it doesn't look bad.

the designs for the mc and the robot are nowhere near as good as goemon and impact but that's to be expected. and I like that the robot turns into a tea kettle you fly around in on the world map.
