I bought a Wacom tablet today

[bgryderclock]

I made this:  I have a lot of work to do...

Does anyone have any pointers for working with a tablet.

[PowerGloveClock]

i got my wacom about a year ago and i have yet to be as good with it as i am with pencil and paper. i just need to keep on drawing

[FossilClock]

Use a program with pressure sensitivity

That is my pointer

[Beret]

Yeah, just practise.

[Topcatyo]

Practice to get the feel of moving you pen in coordination with the screen.  Pressure sensitivity is great as well when you get the hang of that.
Also holy shit hi.

Hello Topcatyo, it's good to see you.

Why are the fake pencil lead nibs thingys replaceable?
Can you change their height to just way it registers pressure changes?

[GamblerClock]

Its so that when it wears away you can replace it without having to buy a new tablet / pen.

there is firction so eventually the plastic will be burned away completely. but I'm still using my first one after 2 or 3 years lol
