Holy shit you guys, I literally spent hours wandering around the minecraft server. You guys made some amazing shit, and also apparently a train track that goes around pretty much the entire map for several minutes until it gets to a break in the redstone circuit and you have to /spawn back.

Anyway, if I want to build something cool too, how would I go about doing it? Do I just plop a bunch of sand down outside the CC headquarters and go to work on the Great Pyramid of AnkhClock? Or is there a suggested area for that sort of thing, or a place you want to recommend? Do I have to mine for all the materials, or are there other quicker ways to get rare materials (I haven't completely dicked around with everything so I might be missing something obvious)?

We have /kit sand, cobble, stone, metal, wood, dirt, pork. Also a lot of items at spawn are free to take, if you need anything else just ask an admin. To build your thing i'd look for a large open space, near the colloseum should be ideal

k so the admin shit works. I haven't figured out all the commands, like how piney and DMC keep creating/removing giant areas of things at once, but I can add and remove anything and dispense items reasonably.

Also, has anyone seen Ciaran recently at all? Apparently he put signs all over this area next to pineytown/whatever it's called with the mushrooms and the gadgets and the castle, to claim an area but folks are saying he hasn't logged on in ages and they kind of are hoping to make stuff in the area. I don't want to remove that shit unless I'm quite sure Ciaran's split and has been given a fair shake at developing his thing.

Oh hey I noticed the railway to the aztec temple is done already. It's so long I thought it would take a while to finish. It's a nice ride, we should build some stuff along the way and add some stations to the route.

So I just found out about the mod that lets redstone affect fences allowing them to move up and down. If this happens to be a very simple thing to do, could you make iron bars act in the same way?
