Quote from: Clu 2.0;1774908I thought you were returning. Now I'm a little sad mate.

I'm always here...Even when I'm physically not.

After some effortless searching on my hard drive, it turns out I had the .fla for the first Operation Five after all. I've finally fixed that preloader issue, and I've also touched it up in a few places and improved the sound/picture quality. Enjoy: http://www.newgrounds.com/portal/view/268977 (pending NG staff approval)

Quote from: EnglishClock;1774900sup brit, I can submit your clockday movie for you if you like.

I was thinking of asking you. I'll let you know when I've made it :)

YoYo, just right click + play for Op5 Chapter 1. I tried to be all clever by making a 'You need Flash 8' warning, but it backfired when they made Flash 9.

Quote from: MonsterMunch;1774902Your not Orson Welles mothafucka. What's with the eulogy of your work?

It's intended primarily for real-life friends of mine who have no idea about my Flash movies, which I thought must be rectified.

And I am Orson Welles.

Clockday is only 10 days away, so I thought it would be an appropriate time to reflect upon the golden era of my Flashmaking. I've put a little piece together on my blog, which can be found here.

As discussed in the article, I won't be submitting a 'big' movie this year. I'm away for much of this month, but if I get time I'll hopefully put something together. I'm actually going away on the 15th, so I might need somebody to submit it for me.

Hope it's a good one!

Flash & Flash Accessories / 'Flash 8' warning problem
December 29, 2009, 02:14:37 PM
It was fine at the time, when Flash 8 was the most recent, but it didn't account for later versions.

Flash & Flash Accessories / 'Flash 8' warning problem
December 29, 2009, 11:53:44 AM
On my movie Operation Five Chapter 1, I included a thing at the beginning to prevent the movie from playing if they do not have Flash Player 8:

http://www.newgrounds.com/portal/view/268977

Unfortunately that also seems to include subsequent Flash Players, so now everyone sees the message. The problem can be resolved by right clicking and pressing play, but most viewers don't seem to think of this. I don't have the .fla any more so it's difficult for me to edit it. Any idea how I can solve the problem?
