Quote from: RomanClock;1377418Johnny Depp as the Riddler in 3?

Dumb rumor. Stupid fanboy dream. Won't happen.

The mere fact that that article says the Penguin is also a possibility shows it doesn't know what the fuck it's saying. Nolan directly said no to the Penguin. Not "a source said he said no", or "we think he'd say no". He said no.

"Do fans think Rachel Dawes, Bruce Wayne's one-and-only, was really the Catwoman all along?" - Haha, what the hell is with this article? Rachel is dead.

Quote from: Flux;1377409Edward Nashton, which is one of the Riddler's lesser known aliases.
Also arguably his current canonical real name.

Losperman

Quote from: Flux;1377409Also, that number-crunching employee who essentially figured out Bruce Wayne is Batman is a very possible Riddler candidate for the next one. He wasn't given a name(yet). The Riddler was one of the few villains who knew Bruce Wayne was Batman for a time.

Think about it. Including that number cruncher was pretty pointless if we won't be seeing him again.

Actually, if I may refer you to page three:

Quote from: Losperman;1373609Wow, bigbadron just pointed out something interesting he heard somewhere:

The guy who almost ratted Batman out was named Mr. Reese. I thought he might be involved in the next one since he's the only normal citizen that knows Batman's identity, and now this only feeds speculation about a possible Riddler character even more. Or do you think it's just an odd coincidence?

So, his name is mysteries, and he knows Batman's true identity. It's got to be him.

Haha, I totally missed that post of yours. Sorry.

Haha, no need to apologize, it wasn't even me that noticed the name thing. Although, now that I think about it more, do you think the actor they got could pull off a good Riddler? I can see how they might have set his character up to become the Riddler (or a villain of some sort), but he just didn't seem interesting or charismatic enough for the part. Maybe he'll surprise me (if he does end up reprising the role).

As Caddy said, his face wasn't exactly memorable enough to where he'd be difficult to replace.

To simply answer your question though: maybe. In most comics I've read, it's very clearly shown that the Riddler is not a physical threat, and would possibly even be afraid of facing Batman hand to hand. His only strength is his intelligence and elaborate traps. They made it clear with this actor that he'd be afraid of facing Batman hand-to hand, they did a good job showing that. I don't personally think he was on screen nearly long enough for anyone to know whether or not he'd be good. He looks like they could turn him into the Riddler, but I've personally never even seen that actor before in anything else, so I dunno.

Also the puzzle piece thing in all the websites, that seemed Riddler-ish.

Roses are red,
Corpses are blue,
You're on the right track,
But you don't have the clue.

The circled letters in the HahahaTimes came out to be that riddle.

Also why no penguin? I never liked catwoman, I always thought she was lame and boring. The penguin is interesting at least.

no i loved it and i wished he would have done it more.

AMPEEEM

I was watching cartoon network while I did some shit for my dad I saw the commercial for Dark Knight action figures, and the joker looks all like Heath Ledger, I dont know, its just really weird. I mean, when Batman Forever and Batman & Robin came out, they had action figures and poptarts and candy, its weird seeing it from an older kids perspective.

The penguin is pathetic. He's so lame that he's the one in a million Batman villain that doesn't get sent to Arkham Asylum. He goes to regular prison.

Topcatyo

All-in-all, the Riddler would be badass as hell if done right.

ArrowClock

I have two questions, I am to lazy to look if they have been answered but here it goes.

1. How the hell did batman survive that leap from the building and onto the car?

2. How the fuck did two face survive that car crash... with out a seat belt?

Dr. Scholl's foot gels or something.

Quote2. How the fuck did two face survive that car crash... with out a seat belt?
He puts one on before he shoots the driver.
I only noticed this the second time I saw it.
HELLO EVERYONE.

Same here. I thought he actually took it off, but when I watched it again he puts it on.

Not sure about the fall, though. I suppose you could use the old standby reason: he's the fucking Batman. :)
