Freddie Got Fingered

I didn't expect much from this movie.  I read the Roger Ebert review.
But holy shit, this movie was terrible.
It was just...
Augh.
It was terrible.
The only plot I got out of this movie was that Tom Green's character wants to be an animator and he and his father are fucking mental.  Then, he does stuff like jerk off a horse or lick his friend's horrific leg wound.  Every scene is filled with this movie trying to hard and failing spectacularly and then Rip Torn yelling nonsensically and then Tom Green jerking off a horse.  Seriously, he jerks off a horse.  What the fuck, Tom Green.  You jerked off a horse.

The Hangover - 6/10

Was funny but most of the funny parts were spoiled in the trailers.

My friend was all like "eeuuughh I hate movies *watches movie* WHOA THAT WAS GREAT YESSSS"
Today I saw a video review explaining that it was bringing back the grudginess of old-school horror films that both disgust you and horrify you by fully making you gaze the monster instead of just startling you. I should check it out.

I mean the gypsy just licks the chick like a dog over a beef bone and does crazy shit and all

Sunshine - 89/100

I like it. Very very much.

Home is an important, sobering film, but it’s also beautiful and optimistic. It’s available on YouTube in its entirety, in high definition, for free.

It is directed by the renowned aerial photographer Yann Arthus-Bertrand, which affords the film a powerfully god-like perspective, albeit one weakened by a rather uninspiring narration; the information is good, but the diction is clichéd and the delivery flawed (some words are mispronounced by the narrator, hardly in-keeping with a god-like voice, and she often sounds unenthusiastic and disengaged, like she isn’t thinking about what she’s saying — give me David Attenborough or Dr. Ian Stewart!).

The effect of Bertrand’s aerial perspective is that we get to take a step back — avoiding sentimental human detours for the most part — and consider the earth as one big organism. Everything is linked, as the narrator reminds us constantly.

The general message to take home is that although our planet is in jeopardy, we can save it through “moderation, intelligence and sharing”.

KISS Meets the Phantom of the Park

10/10

Finest piece of cinema ever crafted. Suck my cock.

Punisher: War Zone

1/10

Everything about this movie sucks. Seriously. Everything about this movie is bad, even the music they chose was completely random and didn't fit the scenes at all.

I can't believe the same director made Green Street Hooligans, which was a very good movie.

MonsterMunch

Awake 6.5/10 -

I'd of liked this movie more if I hadn't seen Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind. It has some good twists but Hayden Christensen is a douche as always.

Jarhead 8/10 -

Completely different movie to what I expected, which I think is the point of the movie. Although the trailers make it out to be a standard war film, the main characters see next to no combat at all and the movie follows them as they slowly start losing their minds through boredom and isolation in the desert. Its like the first half of Full Metal Jacket but twice as long.

The Man Who Saves The World (Turkish Star Wars)

Better than the original trilogy.

Oranges: Revenge of the Eggplant

I watched this a while ago, actually.  I was on Netflix looking for another terrible movie to watch on Instant Watch and I found this.  It actually wasn't terrible.  I mean, it wasn't anything above mildly okay, but it was better than I expected.

If Only - 69/100

Another romance with paranormal situations and a stupid ending.

why didn't they fucking avoided the cab so no one dies? I mean, duh?

TabascoClock

The Iron Giant - 10/10
Touching story, beautiful animation, and great music. Everyone should watch this.

Casablanca - 9/10

Humphrey Bogart is quickly moving up my favorite actors list.

The Spirit: 8/10

A comic book movie that feels like youre watching a silver age comic book, really they should make more comic book movies like this.

Coraline: 8/10

Great magical stop motion stuff all the way.
