No, it's not a "head trip", or a "weird trip into a dark mind". Don't go expecting a kooky platter of tricks -- it's not as superficial as that anymore, despite Kaufmann being at his most innovative. Kaufmann's developing his genius of unbounded expression; now it's used and not paraded. It's poetry and truth; extremely personal and yet extremely universal. It's a gigantic story that towers and oppresses, lifts and enlightens as required.

i agree with your score, it was a massively great film

the meta/feedback loop aspect is one my favorite concepts to think about and he executed it praiseworthly

A Few Good Men - 88/100

Really nice, I like trials. Tom Cruise confronting Jack Nicholson was pretty badass.

Star Trek - 9/10

Im trying to think of a reason not to give it a 10, it was a pretty perfect action sci fi movie

MonsterMunch

Just watched these over the last week. Most of them didn't suck which was a nice surprise.

Twelve Monkeys 9.5/10 - Good fuckin' movie! Brad Pitt fucking makes this movie!

Burn after reading 7/10 - Quite funny with a good story. John Malkovich is fantastic.

Pride and glory 7/10 - Its okay I guess. Typical cop thriller that redeems itself with a good cast.

Strange days 8/10 - The majority of the movie is great but at the end becomes too much of a generic thriller. Regardless it is worth watching.

Serenity 9/10 - I can see why this movie has it's fanboys. I haven't seen any of the episodes of Firefly but the movie was a solid sci-fi adventure flick.

The Ruins 6/10 - Truth be told I only watched this because I have a soft spot for Jena Malone. I wasn't blown away but it is sixty times better then Cabin Fever.

Predator - 7/10

Jesse Ventura died entirely too early :(

High Noon - 8/10

Excellent western, Gary cooper is a champion

miracle fruit

terminator salvation 9/10

fucking awesome, cgi arnold is the shit

SnakeClock

The Fly - 9/10

That... is some SCARY shit. I don't think there's any way for me to correctly describe just how scary it was.

Drag me to Hell

Sam Raimi returns to Horror, with Drag me to Hell. When a Woman pisses off an old Gypsy, She is Cursed with 3 days before she is dragged to Hell. Can she Break the Curse?

The Movie had a Solid Plot, Great Music, Comedic Elements, Ala Army of Darkness, all mixed together for a wonderful "Jumper" flick. I recommend anyone give into the Curiosity, and see this flick.

Up - 10/10

A little soul crushing but the best animated movie I have ever seen.

TequilaClock

Seven Pounds - 88/100
it was pretty good

Pumpkin - 76/100
I actually liked it though the bitch did some of the most stupid shit ever outside the comedic appeal.

Slurpee

Drag Me to Hell was awesome.

My friend was all like "eeuuughh I hate movies *watches movie* WHOA THAT WAS GREAT YESSSS"

TabascoClock

Chasing Amy - 8/10
Great movie. Being a Kevin Smith movie I was surprised by all the powerful emotions and drama in the characters. Definitely recommend it.

TequilaClock

Deadly Swarm - 67/100

Eh cliche story about big tough and strangely nerdy guy that associates with the conveniently sexy reporter to solve a crime about some wacko bugs in Mexico.

Just can't stop watching to see all the stupid mexican lifestyle stereotypesof WROAR THEY ARE ALL CRIMINALS AND CORRUPTS AHDUAHDIA

Pretty much. I thought that bird was kind of a Maguffin, but when Carl was looking through Ellie's adventure book, I cried real tears.
